Went for a meal only, but if the Rooms are as good, then you will not be disappointed. Wonderful food, excellent Service, VERY accomodating, very attentive without being too intrusive, beautiful Inn in fantastic surroundings. Hope to go again even if it is a 1.5 hour drive from home. Even have WiFi for those inclined

I ate here about a dozen times over the last few years with my 90 year old father in law whilst we were organising his move up North to be closer to family. We always had a good meal, in a nice traditional pub, plenty of parking and good location. I’m vegan so always had the burger and chips which was always good (one of the best). Since his move my father in law and I always use Hunters Moon as a benchmark of how good a meal out is or when we’re looking for a pub/restaurant for the family to eat at. Hope to able to return one day. Highly recommended

We made a last minute decision on the way home from Sherborne to stop and see if they had a table for two for a Sunday roast. They were full but found a spot for us. The customer service is excellent and the food was great too. We will definitely be back.

I stopped at the hunters moon pub en route to Cornwall and then a week later when I returned. The rooms I had were very clean fresh linen and towels, tea making and water were made avaliable. The Sunday I arrived I was welcomed by friendly bar staff who reserved a table for the evening meal and had a lovely carvery. The breakfast in the morning was well cooked and fresh toast and tea was served by the host Dean. Very good value for money for b&b.

Very welcoming stay at this lovely country inn. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Plenty of choice for breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. I only ate in the pub itself once but the food was extremely good, no small portions even on the smaller plate! Would highly recommend.

My husband, baby and I visited The Hunters Moon for the first time today for a Sunday Carvery. The pub is really cute, pretty, and rustic. The staff were all really friendly, kind, and helpful. The food was delicious and great value for money! A thoroughly enjoyable experience, we will definitely be coming back.
